Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Werdum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Heat swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Heat shoots in but Werdum avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Werdum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Heat wants to get back to his feet but Werdum is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Heat is nestled in close to Werdum, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Werdum is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Heat pulls his head out easily.

Heat is working Werdum over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Werdum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Heat's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Werdum drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Heat manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Werdum has Heat in his guard.

Heat won't allow Werdum to sweep him here.
Heat is in close to Werdum's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Heat lands a couple of digs.

Heat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Werdum has momentary wrist control but Heat slips an elbow through the middle.
Werdum thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Heat with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Werdum looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Heat is defending well. Werdum quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Heat has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Werdum celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
