The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong throws a head kick but Flannel moves out of range.
Hong changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hong throws a lazy right hand but Flannel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Flannel looks to land a combination but Hong avoids it well.

Flannel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Flannel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hong.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hong. Flannel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hong throws an overhand right that lands on Flannel's shoulder, as Flannel tries to avoid the shot.
Hong punishes Flannel's body with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flannel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Flannel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hong can pounce on him.

Flannel takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Hong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hong scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hong, as that shot connected.

Flannel is rocked!

Hong waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Flannel.
Hong scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Flannel doesn't seem bothered though.
Hong throws a shot to the body.
Flannel moves out of range of the strikes.
Hong looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hong throws a sloppy head kick
and Flannel counters with a one-two to the body.
Hong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Flannel. That did some damage!
Hong uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Flannel has time to react.
Oh Flannel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hong looks to land a left hand but Flannel moved out of range nicely.
Flannel seems to have got his legs back now.
Hong looks to throw the jab but Flannel is out of range.
Flannel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Flannel tries a head kick but it misses.
Flannel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hong circles away quickly and effectively.

Flannel just misses with a punch to the body.
Hong throws out a powerful jab.
Good shot there by Hong.
Hong thows a body shot but no joy.
Hong feints and then cracks Flannel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Flannel down.
Flannel is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hong lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hong drops Flannel with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hong follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
