PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nuf nuf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ford comes to the cage accompanied by "Get Off On The Pain" by Gary Allan. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Ford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, nuf nuf!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nuf looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ford is fending him off so far but nuf persists. Nope, Ford circles away and we're back to standing.
Ford throws a hook but nuf blocks it.
Ford looks to land a left hand but nuf moved out of range nicely.
Horrible takedown by nuf or perhaps it was just good defense by Ford which made him look bad.
nuf misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Eric Ford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of nuf nuf.
A telegraphed right hand from Ford misses the target.
Ford throws a big shot that misses.
nuf shoots for a double leg takedown but Ford sprawls well. He's pushed nuf's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
nuf takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Ford lands a nice shot that snaps nuf's head back.

Ford moves into range and clinches up with nuf.
Ford could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
nuf is working for takedown but Ford is calmly controlling the position for now.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ford.
nuf looks gassed!

Ford's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
nuf on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
nuf takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

nuf is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ford moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! nuf goes down! Can Ford finish him!?
nuf is still in real trouble! Can Ford finish him?
Ford might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ford drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ford jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ford stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Ford throws the left hand but nuf avoids the punch easily.
nuf seems to have recovered his senses.
Ford cracks nuf with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! nuf falls to his knees and Ford doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
