The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazquez tries for a takedown but Danae sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Danae digs a good body shot into Vazquez's ribs.
Danae slaps away a takedown attempt from Vazquez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vazquez is breathing heavily.
Danae gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A nice left hand lands by Danae.
Danae escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Danae cracks Vazquez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Danae has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vazquez to stand back up!

It looks like Javier Vazquez has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Danae throws an uppercut from hell that sends Vazquez clean off his feet! He's out cold! Danae stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
