Lytle comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Light's Out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lytle's hands.
Lytle misses with the combination.

Carter rushes Lytle and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lytle breaks from the clinch.
Lytle takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lytle takes a swing at Carter's ribcage but misses.
Lytle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
John Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lytle has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Lytle shoots in but no luck this time.
Lytle moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Carter has closed the distance and engaged Lytle in a clinch.

Lytle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lytle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Carter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Lytle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.

Carter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Carter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carter, as that shot connected.
Lytle walks into a straight right hand from Carter.
Carter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Lytle takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter lands a nice hook to Lytle's body. Lytle takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A chopping leg kick lands by Carter.
Carter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Carter clinches up against the cage.
Carter landing knees to the body.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Carter obliges.
Carter is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lytle is defending well for now.

Carter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lytle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Nice uppercut lands for Carter. That snapped Lytle's head back.
Carter dips to his left and cracks Lytle with an uppercut!
Lytle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lytle somewhat.
Lytle moves forwards but Carter connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Carter scores with a punch to the head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Carter darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Carter scoring well with a low kick there.

Carter takes the fight into the clinch.
Carter looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Lytle wants to break free but Carter has control.
Carter with a knee to the head.
Lytle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carter walks away with a smile on his face. Lytle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Carter's corner calls for a 1-2. Carter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lytle walks into a left hand.
Carter misses with a hook.
Carter slaps away a takedown attempt from Lytle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Carter scores with a one two! Lytle had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Carter clinches with his opponent.

Lytle pulls guard.

Carter drops back looking for a leg! Lytle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lytle manages to kick Carter off! Carter jumps back into Lytle's guard.
Carter postures up in Lytle's guard and throws a big left but Lytle blocks it.
Carter throws a big right hand that misses.

Lytle has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Carter doesn't defend quickly enough and Lytle has managed to lock this one up! Can Carter escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lytle on a fantastic submission victory.
