The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Master throws a head kick but Schaub moves out of range.
Schaub looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Schaub tries for a takedown but Master sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Schaub is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Master.
Schaub circles away from the clinch attempt.
Master misses with a takedown attempt

and Schaub counters by moving into the clinch.
Master has had enough of the clinch but Schaub keeps him there for the moment.
Schaub can't get the takedown.
Schaub tries to pull guard but Master holds him up against the cage and eventually Schaub drops back down to his feet.
Cooler Master has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Schaub.
Schaub is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Master pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Schaub tries to free his leg and advance position but Master is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schaub prevents Master from getting back to his feet.
Schaub is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Master throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Master is trying to keep Schaub in close.
Schaub controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Master shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Schaub counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Master prevents a takedown attempt there.
Schaub tries to score a body lock takedown but Master shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Schaub stalls.
Schaub gets underhooks to prevent Master's takedown attempt.
Schaub has Master pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Master manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Schaub breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Schaub is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Master is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
