Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bib Fortuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Genghis Khan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fortuna tries to avoid it but Khan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fortuna to the ground. Fortuna escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fortuna changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Khan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Fortuna throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Genghis Khan has been cut.
Fortuna swats away the attempt to clinch by Khan.

Khan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fortuna throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fortuna looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Khan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fortuna - the referee stops the clock and Khan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fortuna. Khan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Khan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fortuna but Fortuna pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Khan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fortuna on the side of the head.
