Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Gross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Willis!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Willis just misses with a punch to the body.
Gross swings away with a body shot that misses
and Willis counters with a big head kick but Gross shrugs it off.
Gross's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gross duly obliges.
Willis is looking to slow Gross down with leg kicks.
Willis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Willis shoots in for a double leg but Gross sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A combination from Willis does no damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gross.
Willis lands a head kick. Gross smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Gross looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Willis!
Willis is working to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gross lands a heavy elbow.
Willis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gross tries to control but Willis wriggling away.
Gross controlling from mount.
Gross trying to control but Willis is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Willis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Willis manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Willis kicks off Gross and gets to his feet.
Gross is breathing heavily.

Willis drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gross being controlled here, momentarily.
Gross wants to stand but Willis is controlling the position.
Gross is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Willis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gross might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Willis looking to pass the guard.
Willis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bruce Willis will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Willis circles away from the clinch attempt

so Willis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gross can't keep his opponent in guard - Willis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Willis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bruce Willis just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gross throws a combination that misses

and Willis counters with a shoot takedown. Gross fights it but they end up in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Willis is pushing down on Gross's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gross is fighting to maintain full guard but Willis has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Willis trying to control the pace.
Willis prevents Gross from improving his position.

Willis in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Gross tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Willis!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bruce Willis!
