Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tim Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johns's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cocaine Blues. Johns is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies with a jab.
Johns is breathing heavily.
Davies throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johns's waist but Johns gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davies off to one side.
Davies scores with a decent looking hook.
Johns blocks the body kick.
Davies ducks under a wild hook from Johns.
Johns moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Davies tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johns was well out of range. Poor timing from Davies.
A combination from Davies does no damage.
Johns circles away from the clinch attempt.
Davies avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Davies lands with a hook. Johns tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Johns checks a low kick from Davies.
Some wild striking there from Davies.
Johns moves out of range as Davies strikes.
Davies is looking to clinch but Johns is avoiding it.
Davies tries to clinch up.
Johns slips a jab and a cross from Davies.

Davies tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Johns missing with a left hand there. Davies was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Johns misses with a hook. Davies ducked under it nicely.
Johns swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Davies cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Davies lands a jab to Johns's midsection.
Davies throws a right hand that Johns ducks under and follows up with a left that Johns also avoids with ease.

Davies shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Davies was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Davies unloads with some shots from mount but Johns bucks and avoids them well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davies throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Davies working for a submission but Johns is keeping him at bay.
Davies controlling the pace for now.

Davies working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Johns looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Davies! Submission of the night perhaps?
