And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Brodie Bowen!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vallely lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bowen circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice shot by Vallely.
Vallely fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mike Vallely seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vallely tries to land a leg kick but Bowen saw it coming and moves away.

Vallely gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bowen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bowen trying to control the position from guard on top but Vallely is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bowen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vallely swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bowen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Vallely drops Bowen with a left right combo! Vallely follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Brodie Bowen has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The strikes coming from Vallely are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Vallely stands up.
Bowen misses with a takedown attempt - Vallely sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bowen looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vallely works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fighters circling - Vallely throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Vallely with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Vallely tries to clinch but Bowen is having none of it.
Vallely sizes up Bowen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Vallely throws a series of punches but Bowen avoids them all with ease.
Bowen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Vallely wants to clinch.
Bowen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bowen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vallely finds it's way round the side to connect with Bowen's head.

Bowen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Bowen is rocked!
Vallely drops Bowen with a huge uppercut! Bowen drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Vallely is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
