The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toretto pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Toretto misses with a wild combination.
Toretto connects with a body shot.
Toretto's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Toretto duly obliges.
Toretto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Toretto with a nice cross.
Toretto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mason circles away quickly and effectively.
Toretto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mason moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Toretto stalks Mason and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mason's face. Mason staggers backwards, shaken.
Mason is looking to clinch.
Mason tries to score a power double leg takedown but Toretto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mason somewhat.
Mason fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Mason looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Toretto lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


It looks like Mark Mason has been cut.
Mason wants to clinch.

Mason wants to clinch up but Toretto keeps it at a distance.

Dominic Toretto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mason moves into range and clinches up with Toretto.
Mason is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Mason has Toretto pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mason pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Toretto tumbling to the mat - Mason dives into Toretto's guard.

Mason is looking for a kimura but Toretto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mason to get the leverage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Toretto is trying to stand up here but Mason is controlling him well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Mason gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Mason keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Toretto's efforts to push away.

Mason shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Toretto as he avoids it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mason closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mason wants to pass to mount but Toretto is defending the position.

Toretto pushes Mason off but Mason dives into side control.
Mason trying to control the action but Toretto is working from the bottom.

Toretto explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Mason closes the distance and pushes Toretto back into the cage.
Mason is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Toretto is defending well for now.
Mason lands with a left to the head.
Toretto wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mason drops down looking for an ankle pick but Toretto pulls his leg out and moves away.

Mason shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Toretto napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The strikes coming from Mason are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Toretto wants to get back to his feet but Mason drags him back down.
Mason grinds an elbow into Toretto's temple.
Mason is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Toretto's shoulder. That is not cool.
Mason wants to control but Toretto is keeping him busy.
Toretto is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mason has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Mason advances to full mount.
Toretto is squirming around, avoiding Mason's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Mason showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Toretto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mason looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Toretto throws the left hand but Mason avoids the punch easily.
Toretto misses with a series of wild punches.
Mason wants to clinch up but Toretto keeps it at a distance.
The crowd cheers as Toretto lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mason doesn't seem phased though.

Toretto is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Mason is looking to clinch but Toretto is avoiding it.
Toretto lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mason at a distance.
Toretto thows a body shot but no joy.

Mason feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Toretto manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
Mason tries to clinch there but Toretto circles away.

Mason drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Toretto stops Mason from passing to mount.
Mason is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Toretto's shoulder. That is not cool.

Toretto is pushing Mason's head away, looking to escape. Mason manages to hold on to the position though.
Toretto is being controlled here.
Toretto is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mason asserts his dominance and retains side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Mark Mason.
I think Mason has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
