Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between peter pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Vortex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vortex comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Run This Town - Jay-z kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Anthony Vortex has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with peter pan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pan throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Anthony Vortex has been cut.
pan throws a head kick that misses.
Vortex will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

pan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vortex is looking to improve his position.
It looks like pan is going to stand back up.

Vortex working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. pan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. pan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

pan stands and steps away. Vortex gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

pan has taken the fight to the clinch.
A body shot lands from pan.
pan with a knee to the head.
Vortex is looking for a takedown up against the cage. pan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
peter pan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Vortex.

Vortex is wriggling around trying to escape.

pan is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Vortex can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

pan stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

pan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than pan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Vortex bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Vortex landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
pan wants to get back to his feet.
Vortex not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Vortex thows a huge punch but pan dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vortex connects with a nice short shot to pan's temple.
Vortex is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vortex breaks from pan's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vortex cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

pan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vortex did well to prevent pan getting side control.

Vortex is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
pan is looking to take a break and control but Vortex is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

pan has left one of his arms exposed and Vortex doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. pan screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
