The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everett swats away the attempt to clinch by Swick.

Swick shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Everett has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Swick is working away from the top position though.

Everett is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Swick pulls his head out easily.

Swick decides to stand up.
Swick fails to land with a series of punches.
Swick will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Swick wants to clinch up but Everett keeps it at a distance.
Swick fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Everett.

Everett closes the distance and clinches up with Swick, looking for a takedown. Everett pushes Swick against the cage but Swick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
