Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Tar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kinho Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tar comes to the cage accompanied by I Come From A Land Down Under. The crowd seem to be enjoying Santos's choice of entrance music: Chapa C - lloraras por mi. Jack Tar has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Santos gets the takedown into side control.
Tar is looking to regain half guard here but Santos keeps moving and retains side control.
Santos looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Santos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Santos throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Santos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Santos somewhat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Santos is trying to drag Tar to the mat but Tar just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Tar prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jack Tar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kinho Santos.
Santos drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Tar throws a good cross that connects.

Santos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Santos showed some decent athleticism there.
Santos is stalling here. Tar is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Santos seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tar has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Tar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Santos.
Santos shoots in for a takedown but Tar shows good takedown defense.
Tar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Santos on the side of the head.
It looks like Kinho Santos has been cut.

Santos with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tar to score with a decent uppercut.
Tar throws a series of punches but Santos avoids them all with ease.
Tar connects with a nice looking jab.
Tar lands a nice shot to the body.
Tar connects with a nice cross there... Santos is looking wobbly and Tar recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Santos to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Tar jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
