Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joaquim Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leslie Chau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chau pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Chau makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A bit of stalling here from Chau.

Chau's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chau can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Leslie Chau is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Chau has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
