The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Cain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.

Papos Cain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Jones.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jones is looking to take a break and control but Cain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cain parries the strikes from Jones easily there. Jones is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cain to escape.

Cain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Jones postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cain tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.

Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jones is working to tighten is grip on Cain's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Cain has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jones is really squeezing tight and eventually Cain passes out! Jones breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
