Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton comes to the ring accompanied by Faith No More - Surprise You're Dead. Nelson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. TTFatF kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nelson has time to react.
Nelson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Patton misses with a looping right.
Nelson throws the left hand but Patton avoids the punch easily.
Patton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nelson lands a jab.
Patton lands a slapping body shot.
Patton misses with a straight left.
Nelson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Patton throws a nice looking combination but Nelson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nelson looks to land a right hand but Patton moved out of range.

Patton uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nelson throws a combination that misses
and Patton counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Patton lands with a hook. Nelson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nelson looks to land a combination but Patton avoids it well.
Patton is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Patton throws a hook but Nelson avoids it easily.
Nelson swings for the body but Patton moves out of range.
Nelson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Patton counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nelson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Patton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Patton lands a nice hook to Nelson's body. Nelson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Patton stuns Nelson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Patton is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Patton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nelson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Patton's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Patton duly obliges.

and Patton makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Patton is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Nelson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Patton.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nelson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Patton feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Nelson crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
