Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Orcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and faisal ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). faisal ali is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orcus avoids a punch combination nicely.

ali gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Orcus is keen to just control but ali is a slippery customer.

Orcus postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! ali is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Orcus, into his guard.
ali is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Orcus is working an open guard so ali takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

ali rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Orcus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Orcus wants to get back to full guard.
ali content to control rather than advance.
ali wants to control but Orcus is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
ali will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
ali misses with a series of wild punches.

Orcus instigates a clinch.

Orcus breaks the clinch.

ali looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Orcus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

ali blocks the strikes from Orcus.

ali is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
ali seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Orcus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

ali looks to land a combination but Orcus avoids it well.
Orcus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Orcus.
Orcus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. ali defends it nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Orcus takes a swing at ali's ribcage but misses.
ali lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Orcus backs up against the cage.
A combination from ali does no damage.
ali dives in and grabs Orcus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Orcus pushes down on ali's head and hops out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
