Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cross Lavi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cross Lavi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Dux!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavi fails with a takedown attempt.
Dux throws a series of punches but Lavi avoids them all with ease.
Dux tries a head kick but it misses.
Dux keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lavi shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cross Lavi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dux moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dux lands a left and a right that send Lavi crashing to the mat, dazed. Dux thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lavi is rocked!
It looks like Cross Lavi has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lavi slips a jab and a cross from Dux.
Oh Lavi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dux tries to bum rush Lavi with a series of wild strikes but Lavi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dux looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lavi wants to clinch up but Dux keeps it at a distance.
Lavi seems to have got his legs back now.
Dux fails to land with a series of punches.
Dux sends Lavi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dux is motioning to the referee to let Lavi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Dux tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lavi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dux.
Lavi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dux's waist but Dux gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lavi off to one side.
Lavi is breathing heavily.
Lavi closes the distance and clinches up with Dux, looking for a takedown. Lavi pushes Dux against the cage but Dux circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lavi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dux can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dux wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Dux is not content to let Lavi control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lavi prevents Dux from escaping the position.
Lavi looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dux is avoiding damage well.
Lavi tries for a kimura but Dux is defending well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dux clinches up with Lavi and pushes him back against the cage.
Dux changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lavi fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Dux is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lavi dives into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dux bucks up and tries to throw Lavi off but instead Lavi has got his back!

Dux throws a head kick that half lands.
Nice sprawl there from Dux as Lavi shoots in.
Dux instigates a clinch.
Dux tries for a takedown but Lavi manages to get underhooks.
Dux has Lavi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lavi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Dux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lavi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dux drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dux jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lavi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dux to the mat! Dux manages to get full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lavi wants to control from the top but Dux keeps moving.
Dux wants to stand and escape but Lavi is having none of it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lavi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lavi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lavi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lavi tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Dux manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Dux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dux is looking to clinch but Lavi is avoiding it.
Dux leaves Lavi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dux swinging wildly here.
No luck for Lavi with that takedown attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dux dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dux moves in looking to clinch but Lavi pushes him off.
Dux moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Dux misses with a double jab.
Dux clinches with his opponent.
Dux has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lavi uses from the top position.
Lavi wants to control from the top but Dux keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Frank Dux will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Dux shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lavi defends it nicely.
Lavi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dux but Dux pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dux shoots in and drives through. Lavi sprawls well.

Lavi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dux walks away with a smile on his face. Lavi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Dux shoots in looking for a takedown. Lavi tries to sprawl out of it but Dux keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lavi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cross Lavi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Dux.
Dux shoots in but Lavi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lavi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lavi lands in his opponent's guard.

Lavi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lavi is looking to work some ground and pound but Dux has wrist control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dux is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lavi is controlling him.

Dux can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lavi controls the pace.
Lavi gets to his feet - Dux follows without any prompting.
Lavi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dux sprawls well. Dux wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lavi gets slowly back to his feet.
Cross Lavi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dux gets caught flat footed, as Lavi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Dux is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lavi is controlling him.

Lavi tries to free his leg and advance position but Dux is retaining full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dux wants to stand up but Lavi is controlling him.
And that's the end of the fight!
Cross Lavi showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Dux has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
