The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Burczymucha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burczymucha scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Burczymucha is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Shin or perhaps it was just good defense by Burczymucha which made him look bad.
Burczymucha throws a nice looking combination but Shin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Burczymucha misses with a series of wild punches.
Shin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Burczymucha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

letting Shin counter with a right hand.

Burczymucha tries to close the distance and clinch but Shin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Burczymucha throws a hook but Shin avoids it easily.
Burczymucha falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Burczymucha doesn't manage to clinch there - Shin circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Shin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Burczymucha fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shin.
Burczymucha tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Shin counter with a right hand.

and Burczymucha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Burczymucha cracks Shin with a right hand to the side of the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Shin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Shin dives in and grabs Burczymucha's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burczymucha pushes down on Shin's head and hops out.
Burczymucha swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Shin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Burczymucha is looking to clinch.
Burczymucha steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shin.
Shin fails with a takedown attempt.
Burczymucha throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Shin stops Burczymucha from getting back to his feet.
Burczymucha tries to roll over but Shin keeps him under control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Burczymucha moves into full guard.
Burczymucha is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Shin scores with a takedown into Burczymucha's guard.

Burczymucha uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Shin shoots in for a double leg but Burczymucha sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Stefan Burczymucha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Burczymucha wants to land a leg kick but Shin is out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Shin blocks a low kick nicely.
Shin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Shin misses with a body kick.
Burczymucha throws the kick towards the body but Shin avoids it.
Burczymucha fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Burczymucha.

And that's the end of the fight!
Michael Shin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Burczymucha has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
