Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Seiwa Joukyuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damion Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damion Black is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joukyuu shoots for a takedown but Black saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Black closes the distance and clinches.

Joukyuu breaks from the clinch.
Joukyuu fails to land the takedown.
Black tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Black pushes Joukyuu up against the cage in a clinch.
Black gets underhooks to prevent Joukyuu's takedown attempt.

Black wants to break the clinch but can't.
Joukyuu tries to stall but Black uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Joukyuu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Black as he jumps to the side.

Joukyuu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Black but Black pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Seiwa Joukyuu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joukyuu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Black avoids it really well and circles away.

Black works over Joukyuu's head and body with a nice combination.
Black tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Joukyuu paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Black forces Joukyuu back against the cage and clinches.

Black breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Black counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Joukyuu is fighting off a takedown attempt but Black is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Joukyuu to the mat. Joukyuu regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Black makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Black is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Black passes Joukyuu's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Black decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Joukyuu, up you get!
Joukyuu has his takedown stuffed

and Black decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Joukyuu's guard.
Black not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Joukyuu wants to get back to his feet but Black is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Damion Black has got the better of the ground game so far.

Black gets to his feet. Joukyuu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Black counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Black.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Black trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Black is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Joukyuu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Black is controlling him.
Black's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Joukyuu controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself.

Damion Black showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Black closes the distance and pushes Joukyuu back into the cage.

Joukyuu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Black might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Joukyuu kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Black looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Joukyuu wants to hold on but Black pushes him away.
Black tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Joukyuu tries to lock up and control but Black gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

BOOM! Black connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Black jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Joukyuu manages to avoid the submission attempt.

You can see the frustration on Joukyuu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Black content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Seiwa Joukyuu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Damion Black is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Damion Black comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
