The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kivessoo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Peterson.
Some wild striking there from Kivessoo.
Peterson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kivessoo defends it nicely.
Peterson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kivessoo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Peterson somewhat.
Peterson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Janno Kivessoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Peterson.
Peterson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kivessoo is fending him off so far but Peterson persists. Nope, Kivessoo circles away and we're back to standing.
Peterson looks for a takedown but Kivessoo sprawls well.

Kivessoo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Peterson looks gassed!
Peterson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kivessoo as he jumps to the side.
Peterson shoots in looking for a takedown. Kivessoo tries to sprawl out of it but Peterson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kivessoo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kivessoo drops Peterson with a beautiful combination! Peterson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kivessoo is looking for the KO!
It looks like Gary Peterson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good leg kick by Kivessoo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kivessoo throws a nice outside leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Kivessoo.
That has opened up Gary Peterson's cut even more.

Kivessoo lands a hook that stumbles Peterson back into the cage. Kivessoo follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Peterson to the canvas! Kivessoo pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Peterson has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
