Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrett lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like LeBrone James has been cut.
James dodges the punch combination from Barrett.
Barrett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
James wants to clinch.
James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barrett circles away quickly and effectively.
Barrett connects with a right hand. James shakes it off.
Barrett throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.
Barrett lands with a right hand.
Decent striking displayed by Barrett there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
James tries to clinch up but Barrett circles away and keeps his distance.
James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barrett as he avoids it easily.
James wants to clinch up but Barrett keeps it at a distance.
Barrett throws a combination. James tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Barrett drops James with a left right combo! Barrett follows him down to the ground into side control.

James is rocked!
James on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if James tries to get out of the position.
James wants to control but Barrett postures up.
Barrett looking to control but instead James has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Barrett seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but James does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, John Barrett just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
James throws a series of punches but Barrett moves out of range.
Barrett scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A lazy left from Barrett finds it's target.
Barrett swats away the attempt to clinch by James.

James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
James takes one to the side of the head.
Barrett lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
John Barrett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
James lands a jab.
James moves in looking to clinch but Barrett pushes him off.
Barrett moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Barrett connects with a crisp jab.
James tries to move into range but Barrett moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A left lands for Barrett.
James takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Barrett lands a right hook to the body.
James is breathing heavily.
Nice takedown defense from Barrett. No joy for James on that attempt.

Barrett moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! James goes down! Can Barrett finish him!?
Oh James is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Barrett decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on James, up you get!
Barrett steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! James is out on his feet! Barrett sets himself and nearly takes James's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
