Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong Li is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li shoots for a double leg takedown but Lewis sprawls well. He's pushed Li's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Li closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Li shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lewis but Lewis pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lewis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Li's head backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
