Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oppolla Doc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doc comes to the cage accompanied by Heat - The Jesus and Mary Chain. Potter has chosen THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Potter misses.
Potter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Potter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doc manages to avoid it.

Doc throws a series of punches but Potter avoids them all with ease.
Potter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

It looks like Oppolla Doc has been cut.
A left lands for Potter.
Potter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Doc's hands.
Doc looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Potter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Potter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Potter has Doc pressed against the cage, preventing Doc from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Potter lands a hook that snaps the head of Doc backwards.

Potter tries to throw a body punch but Doc avoids it by throwing Potter back against the cage.
Doc wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Potter doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Doc breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Potter throws a shot from downtown. Doc moves away and avoids it.

The fighters circling - Potter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Doc throws a right hand that Potter ducks under and follows up with a left that Potter also avoids with ease.

Potter looks to land a combination but Doc avoids it well.
Potter moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Potter tries to land a leg kick but Doc saw it coming and moves away.
Doc lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Potter circles away quickly and effectively.
