Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bam Bam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arvin Mancao!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam throws a sloppy head kick and Mancao moves out of range easily.
Mancao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Arvin Mancao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mancao misses with a few strikes there.
Mancao lands a left and a right that send Bam crashing to the mat, dazed. Mancao thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Bam Bam has been cut.
Bam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mancao paws at him with a jab and circles away.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Mancao has cracked Bam with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Mancao lands another huge swinging hook and Bam tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Bam, before Mancao can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Arvin Mancao!
