The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bastuna.
Bastuna tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brooks swivels and escapes.
Bastuna gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brooks.
It looks like Mitko Bastuna has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brooks shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Brooks was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bastuna is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Brooks has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bastuna's face.

Bastuna takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Brooks connects with a bit shot that sees Bastuna covering up! More strikes from Brooks and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Brooks is our winner by TKO!
