The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kendo circles away.
Kendo dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Smith shoots in but no luck this time.
Kendo misses with a takedown attempt
and Smith counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Smith looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Kendo regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kendo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kendo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Smith should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kendo has tightened it up now! Smith should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
