The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deckman looks for a takedown but Jabez sprawls well.

Jabez stuffs the takedown attempt from Deckman. Deckman gets slowly back to his feet.
Deckman motions for Jabez to come forward. Deckman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jabez swats away the attempt to clinch by Deckman.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jabez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Deckman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jabez misses with a jab, cross combination.

Jabez closes the distance and clinches.

David Jabez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Deckman.
