Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nerubian Assasin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assasin has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Nerubian Assasin struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Nerubian Assasin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assasin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hilo was well out of range. Poor timing from Assasin.
Assasin looks gassed!
Assasin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Assasin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hilo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hilo scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That has opened up Nerubian Assasin's cut even more.
The crowd cheers as Hilo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Assasin doesn't seem phased though.
Hilo connects with the punch.
The cut above Nerubian Assasin's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hilo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Assasin.
Whack! Hilo lands a heavy head kick that drops Assasin. The ref tackles Hilo to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Assasin was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Johnny Hilo!
