Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Pace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Olsen!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olsen tries to avoid it but Pace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olsen to the ground. Olsen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A combination from Olsen does no damage.
Pace shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Olsen pinned against the cage. Olsen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Olsen stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Pace. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pace is trying hard to land a takedown here. Olsen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Olsen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Olsen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Mark Pace has been cut.
Olsen lands with a shot to the body.
Pace is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Olsen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pace stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Olsen lands with a right hand.
Olsen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Olsen's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Olsen duly obliges.
Pace takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Olsen lands a nice looking body shot.
Olsen lands an overhand right.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Olsen, as that shot connected.
Olsen clobbers Pace with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mark Pace's cut is getting worse.
Olsen lands a left and a right that send Pace crashing to the mat, dazed. Olsen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Pace is rocked!
Pace takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Oh Pace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Olsen scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Olsen connects with a nice cross there... Pace is looking wobbly and Olsen recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Pace to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Olsen jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Thomas Olsen!
