The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Narvaez tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Narvaez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Narvaez thuds his right hand into Jackson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Jimmy Jackson has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Narvaez.
Narvaez cracks Jackson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Narvaez has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jackson to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
