Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Pump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mir Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir Steven has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Vinny Pump's chin.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pump slaps away a takedown attempt from Steven, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pump fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Steven fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pump, pushing him back against the ropes.
Steven is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pump is keeping busy.

Steven breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vinny Pump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steven fakes the leg kick and cracks Pump in the body.
Steven fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pump throws a shot from downtown. Steven moves away and avoids it.
Steven tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pump stuffs the takedown.
Vinny Pump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mir Steven.

Steven darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Steven seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pump does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Horrible takedown by Steven or perhaps it was just good defense by Pump which made him look bad.

Vinny Pump is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Steven connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Steven tries a head kick but it misses.
Pump takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Steven clinches.
Steven throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Steven escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Steven jumps guard and drags Pump to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pump postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Steven is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pump, into his guard.

Pump is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Steven has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pump is proving hard to escape from.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Steven has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pump uses from the top position.

Pump rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steven moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Steven looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Steven is nestled in close to Pump, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pump tries to kick Steven off in order to stand up. Steven Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Mir Steven showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Steven.

Steven escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Steven has picked Pump up - he's going for a ride! Steven dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Steven wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pump keeps working.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Steven tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Pump paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Steven gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Steven drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pump pulls his leg out and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Steven is defended easily by Pump.

Mir Steven comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Steven has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
