The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Obasi is pushing down on Williams's leg trying to pass to half guard. Williams is fighting to maintain full guard but Obasi has managed to sneak the leg through.
Obasi has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Williams is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Williams is squirming around, avoiding Obasi's attempts to control the action.
Williams is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Obasi wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely.

Williams is bucking up trying to escape but Obasi cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Williams throws a lazy head kick
and Obasi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Horrible takedown by Obasi or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad.
Williams doesn't manage to clinch there - Obasi circles away.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
