PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Flett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendon Martindale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martindale has chosen Who Am I as his entrance music. Kendon Martindale will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Flett!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kendon Martindale!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flett throws a low kick but Martindale avoids it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Flett lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Martindale has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Martindale and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Flett thows a body shot but no joy.

Flett bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flett winds up and cracks Martindale with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
