Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Goku Kakarotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hajime no Ipo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Goku Kakarotto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hajime no Ipo!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
no Ipo tries to clinch there but Kakarotto circles away.
Kakarotto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
no Ipo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
no Ipo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
no Ipo closes the distance and clinches.
no Ipo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and no Ipo manages to end up in side control.
Kakarotto is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but no Ipo is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
no Ipo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kakarotto turns into him and now he's in no Ipo's guard.
no Ipo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kakarotto is one step ahead there.
Kakarotto thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
no Ipo wants to sweep here but Kakarotto controlling him for the moment.
no Ipo is looking for a triangle but Kakarotto pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
no Ipo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kakarotto is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for no Ipo.
no Ipo looks to move to half guard but instead Kakarotto has passed into mount! Damn!
no Ipo looks gassed!
Kakarotto forces the positional change into back control.
no Ipo tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
no Ipo breaks Kakarotto's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
no Ipo scoring with punches to the head and body.
no Ipo trying to control the position from guard on top but Kakarotto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
no Ipo scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Kakarotto is looking for a triangle but no Ipo pushes his legs off easily.
no Ipo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
no Ipo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kakarotto defends it well.
no Ipo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kakarotto!

no Ipo fails with the takedown.
Goku Kakarotto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hajime no Ipo.
Kakarotto throws a shot from downtown. no Ipo moves away and avoids it.
Kakarotto misses with a few strikes there.
no Ipo tries for a takedown but Kakarotto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A punch combination from Kakarotto misses.
no Ipo throws a hook but Kakarotto blocks it.
Kakarotto tries to clinch up
and no Ipo moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kakarotto wants to break free but no Ipo has control.
no Ipo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
no Ipo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kakarotto clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
no Ipo working for a choke but Kakarotto reverses nicely into no Ipo 's guard.
Kakarotto is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
no Ipo wants to sweep but no luck.
Kakarotto thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hajime no Ipo dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kakarotto throws a shot from downtown. no Ipo moves away and avoids it.
no Ipo swats away the attempt to clinch by Kakarotto.
no Ipo avoids a punch combination nicely.
no Ipo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jab, jab by Kakarotto - just one landing.

no Ipo tries to clinch up.
Goku Kakarotto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kakarotto looks to clinch
and no Ipo counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kakarotto jumps guard but no Ipo stands there with Kakarotto around his waist. Kakarotto gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
no Ipo tightens his grip and picks Kakarotto up, before dumping him to the ground. Kakarotto manages to land in guard.
no Ipois looking to pass into half guard but Kakarotto pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kakarotto is in guard.
Kakarotto won't allow no Ipo to sweep him here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kakarotto avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
no Ipo is looking for a triangle here but Kakarotto uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kakarotto advances nicely into full mount.
no Ipo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

no Ipo regains half guard.
no Ipo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for no Ipo.
no Ipo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
no Ipo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kakarotto has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing no Ipo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kakarotto is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - no Ipo pulls down on the head and he's put Kakarotto to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hajime no Ipo!
