The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan wants to clinch up but Boa keeps it at a distance.
Morgan lands with a kick to the temple. Boa shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Steve Boa has been cut.
Boa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Steve Boa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boa shoots in for a double leg but Morgan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Boa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Boa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Boa with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Morgan is wriggling around trying to escape.

Boa looking for a guillotine from mount but Morgan is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boa is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Morgan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Morgan shrugs it off.

Boa is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Morgan is forced to tap! Great finish!
