Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tymon Gorski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maxime Laforce!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorski lands with a hook. Laforce tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gorski scores with a shot to the body.

Gorski is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Laforce's half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gorski wants to work for an arm triangle but Laforce is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Gorski thows a huge punch but Laforce dodges it nicely.
Laforce is refusing to be controlled, as Gorski sits in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gorski connects with a nice short shot to Laforce's temple.
Gorski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Laforce has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gorski is working away from the top position though.
Gorski is pressing down on Laforce's thigh, looking to free his foot. Laforce is holding on for now.
Gorski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gorski is keen to just control but Laforce is a slippery customer.
Laforce is looking to control Gorski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Laforce avoid being mounted?

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Laforce tries to bum rush Gorski with a series of wild strikes but Gorski uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Laforce stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gorski.

Laforce fails to land with a series of punches.
Laforce looks to land a left hand but Gorski moved out of range nicely.
Laforce swings away with a body shot that misses
and Gorski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Laforce wants to clinch but Gorski slips to the side
and Gorski counters with a three punch combo that has Laforce backing up. Laforce nods at Gorski to acknowledge the strikes.
Maxime Laforce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Laforce gets caught flat footed, as Gorski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gorski slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Gorski works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Laforce scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Gorski manages to mount him!

Gorski jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Laforce manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Gorski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gorski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tymon Gorski showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Gorski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
