Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Jonathan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strope circles away from the clinch attempt.

Strope lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Jonathan sprawling to the canvas. Strope follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Jonathan hang on?

Jonathan is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jonathan is looking to escape.
Jonathan is still in real trouble! Can Strope finish him?

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jonathan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Strope has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Strope and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jonathan slips a jab and a cross from Strope.
Strope throws a series of punches but Jonathan moves out of range.

Jonathan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Strope but Strope pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Strope throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jonathan.

Jonathan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
