Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Kato.

Kato shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kato was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gama is in all sorts of trouble here.

Gama sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Kato has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Gama works to full guard.
Kato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gama swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Gama manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gama cracks Kato with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kato is in a horrible position here. Gama smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gama has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kato's face.
