Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Hilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hazel Murphi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilton misses with a double jab.
Murphi fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hilton wants to slow Murphi down by chopping away at his legs.

Hilton dives in and grabs Murphi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Murphi pushes down on Hilton's head and hops out.

Hilton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murphi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hilton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hilton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Murphi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Murphi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Murphi drops back looking for a leg! Hilton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hilton manages to kick Murphi off! Murphi jumps back into Hilton's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hilton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Murphi defends it easily.

Murphi closes the distance and clinches up with Hilton, looking for a takedown. Murphi pushes Hilton against the cage but Hilton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hilton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Murphi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Murphi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hilton. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
