Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Denham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denham has chosen Primal Scream - Miss Lucifer as his entrance music. Rocky Powers looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Powers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Denham!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Denham's waist but Denham gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Powers off to one side.
Powers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Denham swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Denham closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Denham is working Powers over with some ground and pound from side control.
Check out the look on Denham's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Powers takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Powers is rocked!
Denham cracks Powers with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Denham immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Powers is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Denham!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robbie Denham!
