Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Coltaine Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sauli Heilimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sauli Heilimo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Coltaine Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sauli Heilimo!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heilimo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Evans is fending him off so far but Heilimo persists. Nope, Evans circles away and we're back to standing.
Evans cracks a nice hook into Heilimo's ribs.
Heilimo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Heilimo looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Evans is trying to stand back up but Heilimo is controlling him
Heilimo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Evans is just riding it out for now. Heilimo eventually gives up the hold.
Evans looks like he's trying to stand up.

Evans is looking for a sweep. Heilimo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Evans wants to control but Heilimo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Evans tries for a takedown but Heilimo circles away easily
and Heilimo counters with a single leg into guard. Evans didn't expect that.
Evans bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Heilimo's guard.
Evans wanted to stand there but Heilimo had control of the position.
Evans is looking to work some ground and pound but Heilimo has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evans is breathing heavily.
Heilimo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Evans is aware though and is defending well.
Heilimo is trying to control the position but Evans postures up.
Evans wants to control from the top but Heilimo keeps moving.
Evans won't allow Heilimo to sweep him here.

Heilimo is looking to sweep but instead, Evans has passed into half guard.

Evans wants to control but Heilimo is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Evans shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Heilimo's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Heilimo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Heilimo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Evans gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Evans trying to control but Heilimo is working from the bottom.
Heilimo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Evans's guard.
Heilimo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Evans swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Evans working a defensive guard here.
Heilimo throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Heilimo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Heilimo won't allow Evans to get back to his feet.
Heilimo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Evans tries to improve position but can't.
Heilimo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Evans rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Heilimo's guard! Nice work there by Evans!
Heilimo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Evans manages to get himself to full guard.
Heilimo stands and throws Evans's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Heilimo moves into full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sauli Heilimo dominated that round.

Heilimo has his takedown stuffed
and Evans counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Evans shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Evans fails to land with a series of punches.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Heilimo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Heilimo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Heilimo wants it to stay on the feet.
Evans gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Heilimo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Heilimo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Heilimo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Evans is trying to control Heilimo's posture but Heilimo avoids it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Evans tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Heilimo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Heilimo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Evans looks calm but he's in trouble here. Heilimo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Evans is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Heilimo lets go of the hold and Evans can pop his arm back in it's socket.
