Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Lyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyle comes to the cage accompanied by Sick Puppies-Youre going down. Mir has chosen Spoilin For A Fight as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir throws a lazy right hand but Lyle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lyle throws a series of strikes that have Mir backpedaling.

It looks like Frank Mir has been cut.
Lyle bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mir's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lyle lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Mir looks for a takedown but Lyle sprawls well.

Lyle throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mir sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Lyle is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mir fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lyle manages to avoid it.

Horrible takedown by Mir or perhaps it was just good defense by Lyle which made him look bad.
Lyle closes the distance and lands a one-two.

The cut above Frank Mir's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kyle Lyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lyle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No joy there for Lyle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd cheers as Lyle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mir doesn't seem phased though.

Nice takedown defense from Lyle. No joy for Mir on that attempt.
Mir tries to clinch up.
Lyle steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mir.
Lyle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mir looks to score with a jab to the body but Lyle is just out of range.
Lyle throws a right hand that Mir ducks under and follows up with a left that Mir also avoids with ease.
Lyle tries to bum rush Mir with a series of wild strikes but Mir uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mir misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mir shoots for a takedown but Lyle saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Frank Mir's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Lyle tries to bum rush Mir with a series of wild strikes but Mir uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lyle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mir is breathing heavily.
Lyle lands with a nice combination. Mir backs away looking to recover.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Mir's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
