Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beast Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Palacios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palacios comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP - We No Speak Americano kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Beast Baker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hector Palacios's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Beast Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hector Palacios!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palacios blocks a head kick by Baker.
Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Palacios swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Baker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Palacios.
Palacios just misses with a punch to the body.
Baker tries to clinch there but Palacios circles away.
Baker does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Baker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Baker ducks under a wild hook from Palacios.
Baker moves away from the strike by Palacios.
Baker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Palacios.
Baker loads up on a big right hand but Palacios slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baker wants to clinch up but Palacios keeps it at a distance.

Beast Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Palacios scores with a decent looking hook.
Palacios swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Baker misses with a jab, cross combination.

Palacios throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baker takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Baker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Palacios throws out the jab.

Baker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Palacios. That did some damage!

Palacios throws the left hand but Baker avoids the punch easily.
Baker swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Palacios to counter with a crisp jab.
Palacios might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Palacios keeps the fight on the outside.
Baker darts in trying to clinch
and Palacios connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Palacios slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Baker misses with a few strikes there.

and Palacios counters with a crisp right hand that drops Baker! Palacios lets Baker back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Baker is breathing heavily.
Baker clinches but Palacios breaks the clinch
and Palacios scores with a counter punch that sends Baker to the canvas! Palacios smells blood - he's punishing Baker with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Baker has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Palacios!
