Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Fightmaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Assaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assaf comes into a darkened arena with his song building. click click boom kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Vincent Assaf enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Fightmaster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincent Assaf!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Fightmaster misses.
Assaf misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Assaf dodges the punch combination from Fightmaster.
Some bone on bone action there as Assaf checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Fightmaster closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Assaf to the mat! Assaf manages to get full guard.
Fightmaster wants to pass the guard but Assaf is keeping the position.
Fightmaster is stalling in the full guard.
Fightmaster knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Assaf on the ground.
Fightmaster trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fightmaster looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Assaf had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fightmaster defends it easily.
Fightmaster trying to control the position from guard on top but Assaf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Assaf is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fightmaster is stalling in the full guard.

Assaf is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fightmaster is aware though and is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Assaf pulls Fightmaster in close to prevent any damage.
Fightmaster wants to control from the top but Assaf keeps moving.
Fightmaster won't allow Assaf to sweep him here.
Fightmaster has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fightmaster sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Fightmaster seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Assaf for as long as he can get away with.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Max Fightmaster just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Assaf misses with a takedown
and Fightmaster counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Assaf looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Assaf tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Fightmaster cracks Assaf with an open hand slap.
Assaf walks into a straight right hand from Fightmaster.
A jab lands there for Fightmaster.


Assaf is rocked!
Fightmaster lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Assaf is looking to close the distance but Fightmaster sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Assaf crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Assaf is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Max Fightmaster!
