Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy McNulty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kurt Jamison!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McNulty throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jamison fails with the takedown.
Jamison takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jamison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jamison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McNulty tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jamison tries to control but McNulty wriggling away.
McNulty is wriggling around trying to escape.
McNulty wants to control but Jamison is having none of it.
Poor strikes thrown by Jamison there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Jamison throwing strikes here but McNulty is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
McNulty on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McNulty tries to get out of the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jamison swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and McNulty is now in Jamison's guard. A big mistake from Jamison there, giving up the dominant position!

McNulty stands and steps away. Jamison gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jamison shoots in but no luck this time.
McNulty jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

McNulty closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jamison to the mat! Jamison manages to get full guard.
McNulty stands up over Jamison, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

McNulty working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jamison's head.
McNulty advances to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jamison is staying active underneath McNulty, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

McNulty moves into full mount!
Jamison sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McNulty gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jamison to score an easy takedown into full guard.

McNulty is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
McNulty is fighting to break Jamison's control of his arms but Jamison is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McNulty postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Jamison has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McNulty is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jamison.
McNulty misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Jamison tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McNulty wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kurt Jamison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Jamison thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

McNulty can't do much from the bottom here.
Jamison wants to lay and pray for a moment but McNulty keeps working.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jamison is looking to take a break and control but McNulty is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
McNulty just misses with a punch to the body.

McNulty has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Jamison postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McNulty is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jamison, into his guard.

McNulty wants to get up but he can't break Jamison's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kurt Jamison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jamison has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
