Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slim Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grind pon MeCock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Slim Jim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grind pon MeCock!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jim scores with a takedown into MeCock's guard.
Jim passes MeCock's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Jim is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and MeCock defends it well.

Jim is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. MeCock doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jim.

Jim doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Jim shoots in for a double leg but MeCock sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
MeCock cracks Jim with an open hand slap.

Horrible takedown by Jim or perhaps it was just good defense by MeCock which made him look bad.

MeCock throws a right and a left that both miss.
MeCock scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
MeCock misses with the combination.
Jim shoots in for a takedown but MeCock shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slim Jim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
MeCock throws a series of punches but Jim avoids them all with ease.
MeCock misses with a two punch combination.
MeCock misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jim is defended easily by MeCock.

Jim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
MeCock is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Jim is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. MeCock knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

MeCock is trying to control but can't.
MeCock avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jim.

Jim is trying to work for a kimura but MeCock is defending well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if MeCock can do anything to dispel that myth.
MeCock is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

MeCock lands with a hook. Jim tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jim takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
MeCock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jim is trying hard to land a takedown here. MeCock sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? MeCock is fending him off so far but Jim persists. Nope, MeCock circles away and we're back to standing.

Jim throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around MeCock's waist but MeCock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jim off to one side.
MeCock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
MeCock dips to his left and cracks Jim with an uppercut!
MeCock punishes Jim's body with a nice straight punch.

MeCock lands with a nice combination. Jim backs away looking to recover.
MeCock looks to land a combination but Jim avoids it well.

Grind pon MeCock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MeCock has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Slim Jim will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Jim shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jim showed some decent athleticism there.
MeCock is looking to improve his position.

Jim has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, MeCock has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

MeCock just trying to survive but Jim is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
MeCock is really stuck here.

MeCock is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jim gets his way!
MeCock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
MeCock wants to get back to his feet.
I really don't envy MeCock right now.

Jim is cranking MeCock's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for MeCock! He's tightened the choke and MeCock is tapping out!
