Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matto Monni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tauno Tolonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monni comes to the cage accompanied by The Minutemen - Corona. Tolonen has chosen Hurt me as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tolonen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Monni moves away.
Monni clinches up against the cage.
Monni lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tolonen backwards.

Monni tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tolonen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Monni shoots in for a takedown but Tolonen shows good takedown defense.

Monni has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tolonen is trying to keep an underhook but Monni manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Monni tries to stand and escape but Tolonen is controlling the position.

Monni uses his free foot to push down on Tolonen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tolonen.

Monni wants to finish this one by submission but Tolonen is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Monni.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Monni stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Monni moves into the clinch successfully.

No joy there for Tolonen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Tolonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Monni moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Monni closes the distance and clinches up with Tolonen, looking for a takedown. Monni pushes Tolonen against the cage but Tolonen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Monni doesn't manage to clinch there - Tolonen circles away.
Monni scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Tolonen stuns Monni with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Monni shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Monni drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Monni jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Monni trying to control the position from guard on top but Tolonen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Monni slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Monni has hold of Tolonen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Tolonen seems comfortable defending it but Monni has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Tolonen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Tolonen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Monni couldn't care less - he's delighted!
