Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Steal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jin takero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jin takero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fabian Steal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, jin takero!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
takero is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
takero is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
takero looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Steal closes the distance and pushes takero back into the cage.

Steal's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Steal darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Steal looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Steal lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Steal is trying to control. takero wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Steal blocks the strikes from takero.
Steal scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Steal connects with a nice short shot to takero's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.
takero has hold of Steal's hands but Steal slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Steal working over takero with some ground and pound. takero looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Steal trying to control the action but takero is working from the bottom.
Steal drops an elbow to the side of takero's head.
Steal seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Steal working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Steal is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and takero defends it well.
Steal slips a nice elbow through takero's hands, connecting with takero's forehead.
Steal lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Steal is trying to control. takero wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Steal is nestled in close to takero, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
takero is looking to control Steal's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can takero avoid being mounted?
Steal scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if takero can do anything to dispel that myth.

Steal maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! takero could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Steal has cracked it and takero is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Steal!
